This unit is based on the original stories about Mowgli by Rudyard Kipling – not the Disney film! First published over 100 years ago, there are many different publications available, but I like this one due to the beautiful illustrations;
After considering the characters and language in the original stories, the children work to produce an extra chapter in Mowgli’s life using drama to improvise and refine possible events.
