Y1 Monster Bed – stories with patterned language

In this unit, the children explore character reactions and emotions in two well-loved and familair stories.

They become familair with the patterned language in the books and use the patterns to orally reheasre their own sentences with different characters in different contexts.  The class create their own class book to read and recite aloud together.
