Meeting expected standard in writing at KS2
A practical workshop to support teachers in raising attainment in writing across KS2.

During the day we will:
- Carry out moderation of writing samples and identify next steps in learning;
- Explore effective and creative ways to teach grammar, punctuation and spelling;
- Plan targeted intervention through effective whole class teaching.
- Understand the progression in writing skills across KS2;
The course is designed to support class teachers and English subject leaders to raise attainment in writing and ensure greater numbers of pupils achieve expected standard across KS2. The day will be interactive with a wealth of practical and creative teaching strategies. Teachers will leave the day confident with a range of achievable strategies to implement.
The day will be suitable for NQTs, Teachers, Subject leaders and Senior Leaders.
