- After a trip to the beach the finds were sorted and displayed. We used them to write observational poems.

- Yrs 3 & 4 did observational drawings, bark and leaf rubbings; made a tree from sugar paper, tissue and PVA; found Fibonacci’s Golden Spiral in sea shells and fir cones; and made plaster casts of bones, rocks and seashells. This led to some amazing poetry and explanation writing.
